He was born October 7, 1945, to the late Chester Stallings and Leota (Maltbie) DeLuryea. He retired from the Air Force as Master SGT. and worked as a machinist for NATCO.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, John DeLuryea and Robert DeLuryea.
His loving wife survives him, Nancy (Cornett) DeLuryea; three sons, Kevin and Michelle English of Little Rock, Edward Workman and his fiancée Christina Lewis of Paragould and Ty and Debra Hardin of Lafe; one daughter, Dena and Mike
Glauberg of Jacksonville, Ark., and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral services were Saturday, February 27, 2010, at 2 p.m. at the Irby Funeral Home in Rector with Brother Ardell Polk officiating. Interment was at the Salem Cemetery near Boydsville. Visitation began Friday night at 6 p.m. at the funeral
home.
