at the age of 69 years in the Murphy's Health and Rehabilitation
in Piggott, Arkansas.
She was born January 22, 1941, to the late Morgan and Mary Vernelia
(Cochran) King in Rector. Linda was a teacher in the Rector School
System for over 44 years. She taught the Gifted and Talented
Group and arranged many educational trips for this group. She also
taught reading and was a teacher for the sixth grade at one time.
She also belonged to the Alpha/Delta Kappa and the Woman's Auxiliary.
Preceding Linda in death were her parents and her husband, James
(Jim) Waldron in October of 2009.
Linda is survived by her loving children, Kelly and Brad Osborn and
Lindsay Waldron, all of Rector; a very special granddaughter, Jillian
Osborn; her sister, Lura Mae Temerian, and a niece, Paula Temerian.
Memorial services will be Saturday, March 6, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the
Irby Funeral Home in Rector with Mike Scott officiating. Visitation will
be Friday, March 5, 2010 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the
Alzheimer's Foundation.
