Wimberley elected president of AAF

Ashley (Kemp) Wimberley, Director of Marketing at the Arkansas Press Association in Little Rock, was elected president of the Arkansas Advertising Federation at a luncheon held June 18 at the Embassy Suites in Little Rock.

A Rector native, Wimberley will serve as president through June 2010. In Arkansas, the organization has a Northwest Arkansas Chapter, a Fort Smith Chapter, a Jonesboro Chapter and a Little Rock Chapter.

Wimberley is the daughter of Ron and Nancy Kemp of Rector and is married to Rector native Neal Wimberley. They have two daughters, Anna, 5, and Maggie, 2.

The American Advertising Federation (AAF), headquartered in Washington, D.C., acts as the "Unifying Voice for Advertising." The AAF is the oldest national advertising trade association, representing 40,000 professionals in the advertising industry. The AAF has a national network of 200 ad clubs located in ad communities across the country.
