He was born October 8, 1925, to the late W.F. "Fannie" and Floy Belle (Light) Stewart in Walcott, Arkansas. Glen served as a paratrooper in World War II and he drove a truck for many years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Ovella Sheffield and Louise Nichols; two brothers, Charles and Bob Stewart, and a half brother, John Carpenter.
Glen is survived by his wife, Helen (Hovis) Stewart, to whom he was married for fifty-nine years; one son, Mark Stewart of Owensville, Missouri, and two sisters, Sue Watson of Rector and Jean Douglas of Columbia, Illinois.
