Ollie Mae Dodd

Ollie Mae Dodd, 94, of Lafe died Tuesday, April 14, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.

Born Jan. 13, 1915, in Knob to the late Edward and Mary Burns, she was a housewife and of the Baptist faith.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Logan F. Dodd; one son, William Dodd; one brother, Artie Burns, and three sisters, Lillian Groning, Lena Ramer and Bessie White.

Survivors include four sons, Jimmy Dodd, Jerry and wife Barbara Dodd, both of Lafe, Logan and wife Betty Dodd of Paragould and Donnie Dodd of Kennett; one daughter, Frances and husband Don Thomas of Herculaneum, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 16, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Eldon Parrish officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery with Mitchell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Johnny Dodd, Shaun Dodd, Bryan Dodd, Dewayne Dodd, Larry Dodd and Mike Thomas.
