Frances "Frankie" Evelyn Carpenter, 90, of Marmaduke died Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at her home.

She was born Dec. 9, 1917, to the late Dee and Fannie Polsgrove in St. Francis. She also was preceded in death by her husband, W.W. "Adam" Carpenter; one brother, Alan Polsgrove, and three sisters, Joyce Trentham, Crystalline Jordon and Yvonee Kingston.

She is survived by one daughter and her husband, Beverly and Donnie Reynolds of Marmaduke; three grandchildren, Gene Reynolds, Chris Reynolds and Brian and Laura Reynolds; six great-grandchildren, Eric and Brook, Robbie and Stephanie, William, Adrien, Brett and Abby; four great-great-grandchildren, Paige, Jace, Madison and Brock, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 10, at the Marmaduke First United Methodist Church with Lynn McClure and Willyne Jordan officiating. Interment was in Harvey's Chapel Cemetery.
