Ronald Farrell Smith, 60, of Paragould died Wednesday, May 21, 2008,

at his home.

He was born Nov. 9, 1947, to Shorty and Vernelia Smith of Marmaduke and worked at Emerson.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by a special friend, Sherrie Thompson of Paragould; a sister, Gayla Davis of Marmaduke; two nephews, Chris Brady of Paragould and Richie Brady of Marmaduke; a niece, Angie Cox of Paragould, and a host of friends.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 24, at Irby Funeral

Home in Marmaduke with Ronnie Stevens officiating. Interment was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.
