The Marmaduke Greyhounds saw their great baseball season come to an end Saturday, but not before they took home the runnerup trophy in the Class 3A State Baseball Tournament.

The Hounds rallied late, but fell to Harding Academy, 8-4, at Baum Stadium on the campus of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

It was the first time in school history that the Hounds have reached the baseball finals.
