Cougars fall at state

The Rector Cougars fell 13-3 to a strong Dierks team Friday in the state Class 2A Baseball Tournament at Pine Bluff.

It was the first state tournament berth for the Cougars in several years.

Coach Nate Henderson returns a good nucleus of the team next year with the hope of advancing farther in the tournament.
