Mildred Jewel Pruett Cope, 94, of Rector died April 29 at Evergreen Health Care in Rector.

She was born March 22, 1914, in Rector to the late William Ervin and Judy Belle Pruett. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.

Also preceding her in death was her husband, John William Cope; a son, Billy Fay Cope; two brothers, Martin and Carl Pruett; a sister, Ruby Elsass, and a nephew, Ralph Ervin Pruett.

Survivors include a grandson, Bradley Allen Cope and wife Cindy of Alpharetta, Ga.; two granddaughters, Kristen and Hannah Cope, and two nephews, Donald Ray Pruett and Tony Pruett.

Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector is in charge of arrangements.
