Pairings set in state tournament at Rector

The Arkansas Activities Association has released the pairings for the Class 2A State Softball Tournament which begins Friday in Rector.

Here are the games:

Friday, May 9

Field 1

12:00 -- Foreman vs. Bay

1:45 -- Johnson County Westside vs. Des Arc

3:30 -- Woodlawn vs. Magazine.

5:15 -- Cedar Ridge vs. Junction City

Field 2

12:00 -- Western Yell Co. vs. Bearden

1:45 -- Parkers Chapel vs. Midland

3:30 -- Tuckerman vs. Dierks

5:15 -- McCrory vs. Jessieville

Quarterfinals are scheduled for Saturday, beginning at noon. The semifinals are Monday, beginning at 4. The championship game is at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at Lady 'Back Yard on the campus of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
