Wayne Jones, 64, of Jonesboro, formerly of Marmaduke, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Northeast Arkansas Medical Center in Jonesboro.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Golda Jones; two brothers, Earl and Kenneth Jones, and two sisters, Maxine Colley Josa and Veona Pruett.

He is survived by his wife, Anne Jones; one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Jim White; two grandchildren, Kayli and Cooper White; one brother, Huston Jones of Bourbon, Mo., and three sisters, Leola Miles of Brookland, Parthy Gossett of Jonesboro and Judy Turner of Paragould.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 16, at Irby Funeral Home in Rector with David Gibson officiating. Burial was in Harvey's Chapel Cemetery near Marmaduke.
