Farmer was of the Baptist faith, worked at Emerson Electric in Paragould as a machine operator for 12 years and will be remembered as an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by a son, Allen Dewayne Farmer of the home; a daughter, Jamie Lynn Farmer of Port Allen, La., his parents, Dennis and Barbara Farmer of Marmaduke; a sister, Denise Lamar and husband Donald; a niece, Madisyn Lamar; and a nephew, Markus Lamar, all of Marmaduke, along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Rellie Farmer and Bill and Ethelene Runyan, along with an aunt, Ollie Thomas.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 15, at the First Baptist Church in Marmaduke with Bro. Kim Bridges officiating. Burial followed in the Hartsoe Cemetery at Marmaduke.
Active pallbearers were Robert Stokes, Shadd Stokes, Charlie Hampton, Rodney Hampton, Jason Farmer, Johnie Pruett, Les Oden and Chris Brady. Honorary pallbearers were Michael Carter, Stefan Broden, Micky Hampton, Jerrimy Farmer, Matt Pruett, Gary Ivy, Dustin Capps and Logan Dantezer.
