Jeffery Scott Haywood, 44, of Rector died Tuesday, Dec. 11, in Rector.

Born July 27, 1963, in Centerville, Ill., to Patricia Haywood of Rector and the late Marion Haywood, he was a retired truck driver and of the Lutheran faith.

Also preceding him in death was one brother, Robert Haywood.

Survivors include his mother, Patricia Haywood of Rector; his wife, Pamela Haywood of Savannah, Tenn.; one son, Matthew Haywood of Savannah, Tenn.; one daughter, Sarah Melton and step-daughter Rachel Melton, both of Savannah, Tenn.; two brothers, Timothy Haywood of St. Louis and John Haywood of Selmer, Tenn., and one sister, Rosalyn Haywood of St. Louis.

Graveside services were at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 17, at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Rev. Futrell Butler officiating. Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector was in charge of arrangements.
