Dennis Earl Thrasher, 57, of Rockvale, Tenn., formerly of Rector, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007, in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

Born Aug. 26, 1950, in Rector to Revelle "Tweet" Thrasher of Rector and the late Denzil Thrasher, he was an executive sales manager for Tire Express and a member of Cappadocia Baptist Church.

Also preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Lafe and Willie Thrasher, and his maternal grandparents, Earl and Irene Holifield.

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia "Cindy" Thrasher of Rockvale, and his mother, Revelle "Tweet" Thrasher of Rector.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Bro. James Henry Dortch and Ronnie Stevens officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery with Mitchell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Jack Bookout, Alan Cavaness, Mike Vowell, Perry Whitaker, Terry Johnson and Keith Owens.
