Doyal E. Deniston

Doyal E. Deniston of Memphis, lost his one year battle with cancer Sept. 19.

He was born on Sept. 15, 1928 in Rector to Cordelia and Arthur W. Deniston.

He was preceded in death by one sister, two brothers and a twin brother.

After serving with the US Army in Korea, he spent his life involved both directly and indirectly in agriculture. He was empolyed by Massey-Ferguson for 35 years and went on to enjoy a blessed retirement filled with grandchildren, friends, travel and good health until the past year. Doyal never treated anyone as a stranger and found good in everyone. He never complained or questioned God's plan, even in the midst of illness.

Doyal touched so many lives but none more than his surviving family; his wife of 53 years, Joyce; daughter, Kathryn and husband Johnny; son Mike and wife Angela; and three grandchildren, John, Emily and Jacob; and one half-sister, Delphia Hayes.

Memorial services were held at 9:30 a.m. Friday Sept. 21 at New Hope Church of the Nazarene in Memphis, followed by graveside service in Rector at 1 p.m.at Woodland Heights Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Doyal's honor to Samaritan's Purse, Gideon's International or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
