James Clifford Prince

James Clifford Prince, 78, of Hornersville, died Sunday, Sept. 23 in Kennett.

Born August 18, 1929 in Bald Knob to the late Ennon H. and Gracy Prince, he was an Air Force veteran, a farm laborer and of the Baptist faith.

Also preceding him in death was four brothers, J.R. Prince, Gene Prince, Bob Prince and John Prince; and one sister, Betty A. Prince.

Survivors include, his wife, Ruby Prince of Hornersville; one son, James C. Prince, Jr., of Independence, MO.; two daughters, Peggy R. Prince of Oklahoma City, OK and Jacqueline Elliott of Independence, MO; three brothers, Bill Prince of Medford, OR, Harold Prince of Pangburn, AR, and George Prince of Medford; three sisters, Kate Fortson of Pangburn, Pat Thome of Louisville, KY and Peggy Medford of Memphis; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6 until 9 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 26, 2007 at Mitchell Funeral Home in Rector.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27 at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Clayton Metheney officiating.

Burial will be in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Mitchell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
