Leoma Vangilder

Leoma Vangilder, 94, of Marmaduke died Sept. 16, 2007 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.

She was born Sept. 14, 1913 to the late Ed and Minnie Wooten. She was married to Jason Vangilder in 1934.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Jason; one granddaughter, Pamela Vangilder; one brother, Frank Wooten and one sister, Helen Wooten.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Mary Vangilder of Marmaduke; one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Jim Reddick of Paragould; two grandsons and wives, Doyne and Charlotte Vangilder of Marmaduke and Carey and Jennifer Vangilder of Paragould; two granddaughters and spouse, Janes and Dennis Clayton of Mountain Home and Lanie Vangilder of Birmingham, AL; great-grandchildren, Mitch and Amy Vangilder, Jerry Vangilder, Brittany and Matt McClung, Kassie Thompson, Shea Ford, Lauren Clayton, Shawn Vangilder, Dalton and Samantha Pinkerton; great-great grandchildren; Landon and Mattie McClung and Kaylee Vangilder.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept, 18 at Irby Funeral Home in Marmaduke with Bro. Kim Bridges officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
