William Harold Poe, 72, of Greenway died Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at Piggott Community Hospital.

He was born July 7, 1935, in Leachville to the late Mannie and Maudie Youngblood Poe and was married July 2, 1965, to Juanita Roberts. They had one son.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers: Jim, Richard, Paul, Bud and Leon Poe, and three sisters, Helen Sink, Norma Jean Smart and May McCann.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Poe of Greenway; a son, Darren Poe and wife Elizabeth of Greenway; three grandchildren, Joshua, Kristen, and Emily Poe, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were Saturday, July 28, in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel at Piggott with Boyd Wicker and Richard Tippitt officiating. Burial was in Mitchell Cemetery at Greenway.

Pallbearers were Leroy Chavez, Elvis Chavez, James Diddle, Tim Roberts, Allen Smart, Jack McCann, Dean Pemberton and Brent Spinks. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of arrangements.
