Evelyn Arveline Williams, 75, of Campbell, Mo., formerly of Piggott, died Monday, July 16, 2007, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

She was born Feb. 1, 1932, in Piggott, and was the daughter of the late Cecil and Morine Williams Lack.

She also was preceded in death by her husband, James Everett Williams; her son, James Robert Huffman, and two brothers, J.W. and Bobby Lack.

She is survived by her daughter, Paulette Rittenhouse and husband Robert of Covington, Ga.; one grandson, Richard Rittenhouse and wife Melissa of Madison, Ga.; two great-grandchildren, Katherine and Caroline; two sisters, JoAnn Parker of Rector and Gwen Rodery and husband Carlos of Pinckney, Mich.; sister-in-law, Ella Lack of Poplar Bluff, and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation was Thursday, July 19, with funeral services following Friday, July 20, in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Darren Baker officiating. Burial was in Piggott Cemetery. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of arrangements.
