Born June 4, 1943, in Knob to the late Morgan and Lena Ramer, he was a mechanic, having retired from John Deere in Corning, and was of the Baptist faith.
He loved working with cows and pigs, going dancing, and playing with his grandkids and Leroy the dog.
Also preceding him in death was one brother, Wesley Ramer.
Survivors include one daughter, Leigh Ann Smith and husband Terry; one granddaughter, Natalie Suzanne Michelle Smith; one grandson, Brantley Craig Smith, all of Corning, and one brother, Charles Ramer of Knob.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday, July 11) at Ermert Funeral Home Chapel in Corning. Burial was in Corning Cemetery with Ermert Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
