Born May 2, 1927, in Michigan to the late R.C. Tracer and Bessie Tracer, he was a retired farmer and a member of the Fifth and Pine Church of Christ.
He was married Aug. 10, 1946, in Lake City to Marian Dean Coburn Tracer, who survives.
Also preceding him in death was a sister, Betty Rylant.
Survivors include his wife, Marian, of the home; two sons, Timmie Tracer of Rector and Steve and Sherry Tracer of Sunrise Beach, Mo.; one brother, Harold Tracer of Rector; six grandchildren, Tobi Smith, Shaynee Fogarty, Stacy Daniels, Sarah Schwartz, Tara Tracer and Tylee Tracer; 11 precious great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday, June 22, at the Fifth and Pine Church of Christ with Ken Roden officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Scott Tracer, Bobby Tracer, Blake Tracer, Fred Sain, Markus Smith and David Coburn. Honorary pallbearers were Monroe Martin, Joe Martin, Bill Martin, Tanner Smith, Scott Cupp, Kirk Ford, Todd Ford and Danny Blankinship.
