She was retired from Ely & Walker Shirt Factory and was a member of East Side Baptist Church in Paragould.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Gray; a baby daughter, Janie Carolyn Gray; her parents, James G. Jernigan Sr. and Minnie Blackburn Jernigan Rogers; her step-father, Walter Rogers; three brothers, Berryman Humphrey, David Jernigan and Murrel Jernigan; five sisters, Flora McCoy, Ola Willey, Vestal Graves, Lydia Graves and Imodell Greene, and by one step-sister, Mamie Rogers.
Mrs. Gray is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Rheba and Kelly Scobey of Rector; a son and daughter-in-law, Dewayne "Mousie" and Brenda Gray of Scott City, Mo.; one brother, Junior Jernigan of Paragould; one step-brother, Harvey Rogers of Knobelville, Ind.; six grandchildren, Scott Gray, Ron Gray, Bill Gray, Kristy Lashbrook, Kirk Scobey and Jill Hartsfield, and by 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19, at East Side Baptist Church with Dennis Scudder and Jason Noel officiating. Burial was at New Liberty Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Scott Gray, Bill Gray, Ron Gray, Chris Lashbrook, Kirk Scobey and Chris Hartsfield. Mitchell Funeral Home of Paragould was in charge of arrangements.
