She was born April 20, 1920, in Obion County, Tenn., to the late William and Isabell Adkison. She was a homemaker and attended Seventh and Mueller Church of Christ in Paragould, but her heart belonged to the Marmaduke Church of Christ.
Also preceding her in death were her husband, Shelby Collier, and sisters, Elsie Easley, Elizabeth Hoover and Carrie Boling.
She is survived by two sons and their wives, Charles and Leda Collier of Paragould and Allan and Vergena Collier of Grand Prairie, Texas; two daughters, Dortha Collier and Linda Collier of Paragould; grandchildren, Cynthia and Stevie Lovell, Amanda and Brian Mansdoerfer, and Jason and Traci Collier, and great-grandchildren, Wenona Lovell, Emma Lovell, Margaret Mansdoerfer and Logan Collier.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 6, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Marmaduke with Arvil Hill and Larry McFadden officiating. Burial was in Harvey Cemetery with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Leland Blackshare, Larry Davis, David Summitt, Mark Farrar, Jackie Moore and Archie Johnson.
