Wilma Sue Whitworth

Wilma Sue Whitworth, 63, of Rector, died Wednesday, May 2, 2007.

Born March 6, 1944, in Clay County to the late William Ray Midkiff and Johnnie Pearl Reynolds, she was a lifelong resident of this community and a 20-year employee of Emerson Electric.

Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Beverly Whitworth, and two brothers, James and Billy Ray Midkiff.

Survivors include one son, Marion and Jill Whitworth of Paragould; three daughters, Lena and Tim Easton of Marmaduke, Dana Whitworth and Rodney Parks Jr. of Rector and Sylvia and Jerry Blount of Paragould; four brothers, Lindol Midkiff of Kennett, Mo., Earl Midkiff of Campbell, Mo., Roy Odean Midkiff of Mountain Home and Harold Midkiff of Greenway; two sisters, Mary Morrisett of Rockford, Ill., and Wanda Morrisett of Rector; four grandchildren, Dustin and Andrew Easton, Cindy Morgan and Jason Hampton, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday, May 4, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Marston Carpenter officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery at Rector with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Kerry Midkiff, Byron Midkiff, Lavon Midkiff, Tommy Morrisett, Randall Midkiff, Jerry Midkiff and Donnie Hardin. Honorary pallbearers were Tony Midkiff, William Midkiff, Ricky Morrisett and Kenny Morrisett.
