Ruth M. Busby, 81, of Piggott, died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007, at Piggott Community Hospital.

Born Jan. 8, 1926, in Nimmons to the late Tom Frederick and Leona (Pruett) Frederick, she was a housewife and a member of the Greenway Church of Christ.

Also preceding her in death were her husband, Hershel Busby, on Aug. 8, 2001; two brothers, Jack Frederick and Herb Frederick, and one sister, Ruby Sims.

Survivors include four brothers, Pete Frederick of Piggott, Tommy Frederick of Midland, Texas, Z.J. Mayberry of Biloxi, Miss., and Max Mayberry of Piggott; one sister, Joyce Dudley of Mason, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Piggott with C.O. Evans officiating. Burial was in Piggott Cemetery with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
