He was born Dec. 8, 1943, in Marmaduke to the late Harold and Lorene (Rodgers) Dickinson and was married July 10, 1965 to Lynda Jean Stahl of Rector. He was a tool and die maker and retired owned of Dickinson Custom Tooling in Marmaduke. He was a lifelong resident of Marmaduke and a member of the Union Central Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Lynda Dickinson, of the home; two daughters and a son-in-law, Melanie Dickinson of Marmaduke and Jennifer and Shanon Anthony of Paragould; two granddaughters, Jordan MaLyn and Maggie Lou Mays; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Shirley Dickinson and Rick and Linda Dickinson; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law Larry and Louise Moore, all of Paragould; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Abel and Velma Stahl of Boydsville; two nieces, Debbie Sabo of Little Rock and Lisa Martin of Forrest City; four nephews, Steve Dickinson of Little Rock and Chris Dickinson, Jason Moore and Jake Moore, all of Paragould; one great-niece, three great nephews and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, at the Union Central Church of Christ with Barry Joiner and Tim Wooldridge officiating. Interment was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were the deacons of Union Central Church of Christ. Honorary pallbearers were the elders of the Union Central Church of Christ.
