Nan Hall

Nan Hall, 50, of Peach Orchard died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2007, at her home. She was born March 16, 1956, in Forrest City, the daughter of Arnold and Nancy Pybus Verhoeven.

She was a school teacher, having taught third, fifth and sixth graders at Knobel, Greene County Tech and Delaplaine schools. She was president of the Delta Kappa Gamma, Alpha Epsilon Chapter and served on the Arkansas Benchmark Reading Committee. She was of Church of Christ belief.

She is survived by her husband, Keith Hall of the home; daughters and son-in-law, Ashley and First Lieutenant Tim Dean of Peach Orchard and Tiphany Hall of West Palm Beach, Fla.; parents, Arnold and Nancy Verhoeven of Salesville; brothers, Raymond Verhoeven of Searcy and George Verhoeven of Wynne, and her granddaughter, Evelyn Clair Dean.

Her life was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, in the Heath Colonial Chapel with Phil Eaker and Rudy Dillard officiating. Burial followed at Greene County Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers were Mark Graham, Michael Hampton, Trey Hall, Ray Verhoeven, Jason Carns and Mark Curtis. Honorary pallbearers were Jo Ed Smith, T.H. Schimmings, Bobby Joe Willie and Mark Craft.
