Alice Faye Matheny, 67, of Paragould died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2007, at Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center.

Born Sept. 8, 1939, in Knobel to the late V.W. and Juanita Hollman Roush, she was a housewife and of the Church of Christ faith. She was married June 18, 1955, to Wayne Matheny.

Also preceding her in death were one brother, Lewis Roush, and one sister, Janet Poyner.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Matheny of the home; two sons, Don and Suzie Matheny of Houston and Brian Matheny of Louisiana; one daughter and son-in-law, Bonita and Terry North of Paragould; three brothers, Larry Roush, Billy Roush and Robert Roush, all of Houston; one sister, Sharon Hanson of Houston, and three grandchildren, Matthew, Hunter and Dylan.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, Jan. 17) at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Marmaduke with Bro. James Balcom and Bro. Bill Brunkhardt officiating. Burial will be in Harvey's Chapel Cemetery near Marmaduke.

Active pallbearers will be the boys of Children's Home, Inc. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be sent to the Children's Home, Inc., of Paragould.
