Thelma Ann Cox, 96, of Rector died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007, in Paragould.

Born May 13, 1910, in Evart, Mich., to the late Adelbert and Myrtie Porter, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She also was preceded in death by her husband, William Luther Cox; two sons, Charles and Adelbert Feirick, and three daughters, Hilda Bush, Lindy Duncan and Mary Smith.

Survivors include one step-daughter, Marcell Taylor of Phoenix, Ariz., several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Bro. James Henry Dortch officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Mitchell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Dewey Shelton, Keith Smith, Leroy O'Neal, Dewain Smith, Buel Cox and Charles Smith.
