Born Feb. 2, 1939, in Leachville to the late Wyatt and Lydia Nunnery, he was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith.
He also was preceded in death by his step-mother, Sybil Brown, two brothers and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Nunnery of Mountain Home; one son, David Nunnery of Juneau, Alaska; four daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Jimmy Smith of Mountain Home, Linda and Jake Martin and Dawn and Troy Davis of Norfork and Kathy and Mike League of Fernley, Nev.; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Dub and Linda Nunnery of St. Charles, Mo., James and Josie Nunnery of Rector and Dennis and Jennie Nunnery of Holcomb, Mo.; five sisters, Jewel Weaver of Pocahontas, Betty Keele of Marmaduke, Nina Sells of St. Louis, Mo., Pat and Bud Stone of Rector and Jerry and Kathy Goodman of Jonesboro; 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Bro. Freddie Barker officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Nunnery, Dennis Lee Brown, Charlie Brown, Shawn Parnell, Chris Stone and Preston Davis.
