Dr. Milton L. Tate

Dr. Milton L. Tate, 85, well-known Kennett veterinarian, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

He was born July 2, 1921.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Natalie Rosenfeld Tate; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sara Jo and Scott Goldstein, Linda and Curtis Sims and Deborah and Russell Welsh, and two grandchildren, Jacob and Michelle Goldstein.

Private family graveside services will be held today (Wednesday, Dec. 6) at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Kansas City. There will be a celebration of his life for all who wish to attend at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at the First United Methodist Church in Kennett.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Kennett Animal Shelter in memory of Milton L. Tate, c/o Brenda Privett, City Clerk, 200 Cedar Street, Kennett, MO 63857, or Boston Latin School, attention: Head Master Cornelia Kelley, 78 Avenue Louis Pasteur, Boston, MA 02115 or a charity of the donor's choice.
