Lawson Beacham Jr.

Lawson Beacham Jr., 66, of Hot Springs, formerly of Rector, died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006, at St. Joseph's Mercy Health Center.

Born Oct. 14, 1939, at Senath, Mo., he was a Christian. He was preceded in death by his wife, Laveda Ann Beacham, 16 months ago; one sister, Mary Louise Beacham; his father, L.S. Beacham Sr., and his mother, Mary Magdalene (Wise) Beacham, formerly of Rector.

Known by his family and friends as Junior, he graduated from Rector High School in 1957.

Survivors include two daughters, Faith Hamilton-Cleveland and Misty Ann Sewell, both of Hot Springs; one grandson, Christopher Hamilton of Hot Springs, and two sisters, Virginia Ann Williams and husband Jim of Bentonville, formerly of Rector, and Dorothy Mae Ellsworth and husband Ronald of Dexter, Mo.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11, in Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Darryle Sulton officiating.
