Heather Jane Bennett, 23, of Rector, formerly of Marmaduke, died Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006 in Memphis.

She was born March 5, 1983, in Jonesboro and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marmaduke.

Survivors include her parents, Gene and Brenda Bennett of Marmaduke; one brother, Bryan Bennett of Paragould; four sisters, Kimberly Long of Nashville, Lori James of Searcy, Mindy Wolfenbarger of Rector and Tammy Bennett of Marmaduke, and grandparents, Floyd and Mary Bennett.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, at the First Baptist Church in Marmaduke with Rev. Kim Bridges officiating. Burial was in Hartsoe Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Doyne Shaw, Nathan Stone, Jerry Don McIntosh, Stephen Wolfenbarger, Eddie Bennett, Rodney Hampton, Nick Stone and David Hampton.
