Jerry Carl Huffstutler, 64, of Paragould, formerly of Rector, died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2006, at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born June 20, 1942, in Rector to the late Carl and Vinnie Hopper Huffstutler, he was a security guard and a member of Apostolic Pentecost Church in Manila.

He also was preceded in death by one brother, Denny Huffstutler, and one sister, Euba Hardin.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Lynne Huffstutler of the home; three sons, Jerry Lavern Huffstutler, Nathan Scott Huffstutler and Daniel Lee Huffstutler, all of Paragould; one daughter, Rebecca Leann Huffstutler of Paragould; the mother of his children, Lillie Huffstutler of Paragould; two brothers, Dewayne Huffstutler of Rector and Paul Huffstutler of Lafe; three sisters, Gloria Riney, Joyce Lewis and Janice Mitchell, all of Paragould, and eight grandchildren, Byron, Monica, J.J., Stephanie, Tiffany, Danielle, Kalev and Emilee.

Funeral services were Friday, Sept. 1, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Bro. Rudy Burrow officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Jerry Huffstutler, Nathan Huffstutler, Daniel Huffstutler, J.J. Pullam, Jason McCluskey, Gary Boozer and Byron Huffstutler.
