Jessie Clara (Parham) Moore, 91, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2006, at Curry Good Samaritan Center in Brookings, Ore.

She was born Dec. 29, 1914, to the late J.A. (Archie) and Mary E. Parham in Conway. She lived in Rector for years before moving out west.

Jessie married her husband, George, in 1984 in Reno, Nev. He survives. She loved to dance and enjoyed her family. She loved to travel in their motorhome camping and going on outings with the Good Sam Club.

Also preceding her in death were brothers Chester, Rudolph and Horace Parham, and sisters, Grace Webb, Dimple Gregery and Ruth Curtis.

She also is survived by one daughter, June Robertson of Denver; two sons, Charlie Rigney of Modesto, Calif., and Ryan Rigney of Backsville, Calif.; two step-daughters, Georgina Moore of Reno and Debbie Hill of Grants Pass, Ore.; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one sister, Laverne Beckley of Cabot.

Services were held Sunday, Aug. 6, at Brookings Presbyterian Church. Cremation was at Redwood Memorial Chapel and Crematory in Brookings.
