Born April 9, 1975, in Omaha, Neb., to Gerald A. Johnson and Yoshiko E. Shibata Johnson, both of White Hall, he graduated from White Hall High School in 1993 and from Henderson State University in 1997 with a Bachelor's degree. He earned his Master's degree in 1999. He was a financial analyst for Wright Medical Technology at Arlington and was a member of White Hall United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John F. and Margie Alice Seegraves Johnson, and an uncle, Donald Johnson of Rector.
Survivors include his parents, Gerald and Yoshiko Johnson of White Hall; two brothers, Van Johnson and Zane Johnson, three half-brothers, Dudley Johnson, Mark Johnson and Martin Johnson, and one half-sister, Margie Brown, all of Judsonia; his grandmother, Yoko Ishigami of Japan; his fiancee, Lori Jacobs; an uncle, Kenneth Johnson of Rector, and an aunt, Louise Lucy of Rector.
Funeral services were Wednesday, July 12, at Cranford Funeral Home of White Hall with Rev. David Baker officiating. Burial was in Pine Crest Memorial Park in Little Rock.
Wright Medical Technology, Inc., personnel held a memorial in honor of David Friday afternoon, July 14, at the City Hall in Arlington, Tenn., for its employees, family members and friends.
