Born April 20, 1926, in Rector to the late Wyatt "Pat" Patrick and Flora Mae Patrick, he attended Rector Elementary School and was a graduate of Jonesboro High School and Arkansas State University.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the South Pacific during World War II, was a Mason and was faithful to his church, where he was a deacon.
He also was preceded in death by one son, Denver Patrick Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Patrick; two sons, Gregg Patrick and Wyatt Patrick, both of Atlanta, Ga.; one sister, Geraldine Pierson of Hartselle, Ala.; three aunts, Zenith Shannon, Edith Bain and Betty Thomas, and several grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Friday, June 9, at Trinity Fellowship Church with Rev. Roy Lamberths officiating. Burial was in White House Memorial Gardens.
A playground for children is being built in memory of Mr. Patrick on the church grounds.
