Adam James Hess

Adam James Hess, 24, of Wynne, great-grandson of Hughey and Mary Linam of Rector, died Tuesday, June 20, 2006, in St. Francis County.

He was born Nov. 26, 1981, at Wynne to James Henry Hess Jr. and Pamela Gayle Mulholland Hess. He married Miss Jennifer Leigh Taegtmeyer on Jan. 24, 2006.

Adam was a 2000 graduate of Wynne High School. He soon began cropdusting for Hamlin Flying Service. He had been a pilot for about five years. He attended St. Peter's Catholic Church at Wynne and was a member of the Arkansas Aerial Applicators Association.

He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, boating, riding motorcycles and ATVs.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer, of the home; his parents, James Henry Hess Jr. and Pamela Gayle Mulholland Hess of Wynne; parents-in-law, Lawrence and Jimmie Tacker Taegtmeyer; his sister, Amber Rebecca Brock and husband, Timothy, of Wynne; grandparents, James Henry Hess Sr. and Helen Young Hess of Wynne, Charles E. and Jo Ann Lewis of Tunica, Miss., and Billy Doyle and Yvonne Linam Mulholland of North Little Rock, and great-grandparents, Hughey and Mary Linam of Rector.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 24, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Wynne. Burial was in Johnson Cemetery at Wynne. Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home of Wynne was in charge of arrangements.
