Jimmy V. Fielder, 72, of Marmaduke, died Sunday, June 18, 2006, at Marmaduke.

Born July 15, 1933, in Paragould to the late Meryle and Beatrice Fielder, he was retired from the military, having served in Vietnam. He had worked for Smoot Mobile Homes.

He also was preceded in death by one sister, Venneta Higgins.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon K. Vowell Fielder of Marmaduke; one son, Terry V. Fielder of Marmaduke; one daughter, Tammy Seay of Paragould; three brothers, Bill Fielder of Rector, Jackie Fielder of Mayflower and Bobby Fielder of Florida; one sister, Nancy Ball of Springfield, Mo., and three grandchildren, Joshua Fielder, Jimmy V. Fielder and Cody V. Fielder.

A private family service will be held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday June, 21) at his home in Marmaduke. Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector is in charge of arrangements.
