Lola Marie Donaldson, 95, of Forrest City, formerly of Rector, died Thursday, June 1, 2006.

Born April 26, 1911, in Greene County to the late William Ahlf and Emma (Wyatt) Ahlf, she was a florist and had owned and operated Donaldson's Flowers. She was of the Methodist faith.

Also peceding her in death were her husband, Byron Donaldson, in 1987, and one brother, Chester Ahlf.

Survivors include one son, Danny Donaldson of Forrest City; two grandchildren, Dennis and Jacque Donaldson of Wynne and Dana and Richard Totty of Memphis, and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Dr. Adrian Parker officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Gregory Jameson, Stanley Melson, Bobby Childers, Gary Proffitt, Paul Rowton and Melvin Bowman.
