Beatrice May Morrison, 83, of Jonesboro, formerly of Rector, died Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born May 1, 1922, in Gideon, Mo., to the late Charles Kent and Florence Jessie May (Beal) Kent, she was a homemaker and a member of White Oak General Baptist Church.

Also preceding her in death were her husband, Otis Morrison in 1980; one daughter, Brenda Viola Schindler in 1987, and two brothers, James Kent and Raymond Kent.

Survivors include one granddaughter, Dawn Pugsley of Jonesboro, and three great-grandchildren, Mariah, Brandon and Jacob.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 22, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Bro. Anthony Dowdy and Bro. Sam Book officiating. Burial was in Stanfill Cemetery in Clarkton, Mo., with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Earl Parrish, Clifton Carter, Neil Stallings, Randy Pugsley, Aaron Pugsley and Brad Hester.
