Sharon Fears

Wednesday, March 29, 2006
Sharon Fears, 55, of St. Francis died on Friday, March 24, 2006, at her home.

She was born July 6, 1950, in Piggott, the daughter of the late Charles and Leota Glass High.

Her maternal grandparents, the late Jess and Pearl Parker Glass, raised her.

She was united in marriage to Alfred Fears on Nov. 8, 1969. Together they raised three daughters.

Mrs. Fears enjoyed her family, reading, planting flowers, taking pictures, and most of all - using her computer to talk to family and friends that lived far away at just the click of a button.

In addition to her parents and maternal grandparents, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Lee and Clara High; and one grandson, Chrystain Seigrist.

She leaves behind her husband, Alfred Fears of St. Francis; her daughters, Lupe Taylor and husband, Terry, of Rector, Laura Gargus and husband, Tommy, of Rector and Melissa Seigrist and husband, Doug, of Bald Knob; three grandsons, David and Kristopher Shipman, of the home, and Matthew Taylor of Rector; one brother, James Glass and wife, Mary, of Piggott; one sister, Bobby Douthit and husband, Craig, of Newell, South Dakota; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2006, at the Piggott Cemetery with Wayne Bowman officiating. Burial followed in the Piggott Cemetery.

Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
