Born Jan. 9, 1914, near Paragould to the late George Henry and Alice Morris, she was a homemaker and a member of the Blue Cane General Baptist Church.
Also preceding her in death were her husband, Joe Morris; two sons, Lindell Russell and Leyon Morris; one daughter, Dortha Cornelison; two brothers, Chester and Roy Morris; three sisters, Ruth Thompson, Pearl Smith and Gladys Morris, and one great-grandson, Jarrod Leach.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Kenneth Foster of Rector and Melda and Richard Williams of Rockford, Ill.; a daughter-in-law, Stella Morris of Rector; a son-in-law, Elvis Cornelison of Rector; eight grandchildren, Judy Leach and husband Glenn of Rector, Cindy and Kelly Williams of Rockford, Kenny Foster of Rector, Mike Morris of Harrisburg, Janie Stone of Paragould and Linda Moore and Dale Cornelison of Rector; nine great-grandchildren, Laura Leach Wilburn, Jennifer Williams, Jason Morris, Brandi McFadden, Meghan and Sarah Stone, Cassidy Moore and Jordan and Emily Cornelison, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Bro. James Henry Dortch officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery with Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Glenn Leach, Leroy O'Neal, Dewey Shelton, Charles Smith, Allen Waugh and Keith Waugh.
