A homemaker, she was born Oct. 6, 1958, in Pontiac, Mich., to Levonia (Farmer) Damon and the late Johnnie Edward Damon Sr. She was married to Robert "Slick" White, who preceded her in death Nov. 5, 2003. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marmaduke.
Survivors include one son, Jeremy White of the home; two daughters, Amy and Tim Wyatt of Marmaduke and Shelly White of Marmaduke; her mother, Levonia Damon of Marmaduke; one brother, Johnny Damon Jr. of Marmaduke; two sisters, Sue and Terry Burgess of Lafe and Lou Sharp of Paragould; three grandchildren, Eliana and Chandler Wyatt and Hunter Walker, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 28) at the First Baptist Church of Marmaduke with Rev. Kim Bridges officiating. Burial was in Hartsoe Cemetery at Marmaduke.
Pallbearers were Tim Wyatt, Larry Wyatt, Johnny Damon Jr., Charles "Bucky" Johnson, Zachary Burgess, Terry Metz, J.R. Metz Jr., Claude Farmer and Brian Flannigan.
