She was born Sept. 15, 1930, in Mt. Morris, Mich., to the late Clayton Johnson and Leora (Riley) Johnson and was married Sept. 1, 1956, in Mt. Morris to Rupert Rooker.
A housewife, she was of the Methodist faith and a member of the Eagles Club.
Also preceding her in death was a brother, Pat Johnson.
Survivors include her husband, Rupert Rooker; two sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Karen Rooker of Fenton, Mich., and Dennis and Loretta Rooker of Williamsburg, Va.; four grandchildren, Ally and Amy Rooker of Fenton and Courtney and Kenny Rooker of Williamsburg; two sisters, Alice Zeiss and GiGi Walker, both of Royal Oak, Mich.; one brother, Bill Johnson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Marmaduke with Bro. Kim Bridges officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Paragould Children's Home.
