Louise Williams

Louise Williams, 80, of Craighead Nursing Center, formerly of Rector, died Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, in Jonesboro.

Born Feb. 26, 1925, in Guy, Ark., to the late Arnold (Ben) Little and Effie Hartwick, she was a cafeteria worker for the Rector School District, a member of the Eastern Star and a member of the First Baptist Church in Rector.

She also was preceded in death by her husband, Claude, in December 1997.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ronald and Kathy Williams of Jonesboro and Danny Williams of Rector; one granddaughter, Heather Williams of Jonesboro; one brother, Bob Little of Rector; four sisters, Billie Parrish of Jonesboro, Betty Baker of Mountain Home, Peggy Williams of Piggott and Shirley Shelton of Kennett, and a host of other friends and relatives.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, at Rector First Baptist Church with Bro. Ardell Polk and Bro. Jerry Jolly officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Roger Little, Rick Baker, Barry Parrish, Tony Parrish, Jimmy Fielder and Wayne Stevenson.
