Beverly Ruth Simpson, 60, of Rector died Monday, Dec. 12, 2005, at her home.

She was born Feb. 7, 1945, in Wappapello, Mo., to the late Everett Elvin Wills and Thelma Irene Jackson and was married to Beryl Simpson, who died July 3, 1997.

She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Simpson, on Oct. 31, 1980, and a sister, Barbara Sue Goodnight.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was supervisor of housekeeping at Rector Healthcare.

Survivors include one son, Courtney Simpson, of the home; one daughter, Kristal Simpson, of the home; one sister, Glenda Blanton of Kennett, Mo.; special friends, Rodney Lancaster and Sue Ellen Barnes, and two grandchildren, Skyler and Jordan.

Family visitation will be at 5 p.m. and public visitation at 6 p.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 14) at Irby Funeral Home in Rector.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Rev. Larry Martineau officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery at Greenway.

Pallbearers will be Dave Gunn, Erik Lopez, Josh Farmer, Brandon O'Neal, Jarred Roach and Steven Lee Horton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home.
