Verna Mae Faucett, 95, of Rector died Friday, Oct. 6, 2005, at Rector Healthcare.

Born in Clay County on June 16, 1910, to the late John Henry Chilcutt and Ollie Florence Hubble Chilcutt, she was a homemaker, a lifelong member of the community and a member of the Ninth and Hafford Church of Christ.

She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Earl, Jim and John Chilcutt, and one sister, Oleta Giles.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Faucett of the home; one brother, Alvie Chilcutt of Rector, and one sister, Inus Faucett of McRae.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Gail Benson officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Ray Featherston, Ralph Featherston, Shonne Mick and Avery George.
