She was born Nov. 23, 1908, in Rector, the daughter of Ike and Either (Sides) McCluney.
She was united in marriage to Clyde Preston McDonald, Jan. 3, 1929, at Piggott. He preceded her in death July 8, 1993.
She was a homemaker and of the General Baptist faith.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; one brother, Glenn McCluney; and two sisters, Cecil Laughlin and Flora Patrick.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, William and Charlene McDonald of Mountain Home and Ralph and Marilyn McDonald of Arnold, Mo.; two sisters, Zenith Shannon and Edith Bain; two grandchildren, Perry McDonald and Valerie Long; two great-grandchildren, Andrew Long and Shane McDonald; and a several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, 2005, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Rev. James Henry Dortch officiating. Burial followed in Woodland Heights Cemetery. Pallbearers were Perry McDonald, Kenneth Long, Don Mitchum, Don Brown, Charles Bain, Cary Clayton, Andrew Long and Shane McDonald.
Irby Funeral Home of Rector was in charge of the arrangements.
